ABOUT ROBIN

— ✦ —

My Life Belongs to Christ.
Everything Else Flows From That.

My name is Robin, and everything I do flows from my identity in Christ. Not as an author or publisher or entrepreneur, but as a follower of Jesus. I am a member of The Summit Church, and my faith is not something I keep separate from my work, my writing, or my daily life. Nothing happens in my world without His guidance, and I wouldn't want it any other way.

I live in Wake Forest, North Carolina with my husband of 20 years, a man who has a gift for balancing out my tendency to overthink absolutely everything. We have a daughter who is 30 years old who continues to teach us both what grace actually looks like when it shows up in real life. Our family's journey has had its share of hard seasons, but I wouldn't trade any of them, because Jesus uses the hard seasons for His glory, and those are the very seasons that equipped me to sit with others during their struggles.

Before writing became my focus, I spent years in administration, building systems and solving problems for other people's businesses. I launched two businesses of my own before publishing found me. Looking back, I can see how every single one of those years was preparing me for something I never saw coming. That's how God works; not a single moment is wasted.

What drives me is honest conversation. I remember what it felt like to have more questions than answers, to wonder if I was doing Christianity wrong because it didn't feel as simple as everyone made it sound. I've learned that those feelings are not a sign of weak faith; they are a sign that you're paying attention. But honest conversations about doubt, struggle and confusion are hard to find in a lot of Christian spaces, and that gap is exactly why I created a space called the Steady Steppers community.

Steady Steppers is for people who want to grow in faith without pretending they have it all figured out. We believe that confusion and faith can coexist, that slow and steady progress matters more than having all the right answers, and that Jesus meets us exactly where we are, not where we think we should be.

Dedicated to following Christ, at any cost.
